POLICE investigating the fatal collision near Follifoot on Tuesday, July 21, are appealing for three crucial witnesses to come forward.
The collision involved a black Porsche GT3 which left Plumpton Road and came to rest in a ditch, killing the two occupants, husband and wife Christopher and Julia Pattimore, from Follifoot.

Police are anxious to speak to three young men who were seen at around 9.45pm travelling in a mark 1 Vauxhall Corsa which was seen exiting Plompton Road and then turned left towards the roundabout near the Kestrel Pub.

It was getting dark at the time, but the Corsa could have been a rusty brown or green colour.

Police have stressed that they would like to speak to the occupants of the Corsa, as they could have important information which could help the investigation. If you can help with information, contact TC Stuart Holden at Harrogate Road Policing Group on 0845 606 0247.

An inquest into the Pattimores death was opened and adjourned on July 23.
