RAWORTHS Solicitors, who have had premises on the High Street, Knaresborough, since 1971, are to close their Knaresborough office as part of a re-organisation and expansion of their Harrogate operation.
The firm has moved into additional premises in the recently-refurbished Clarendon House, across the road from their head office on Station Parade, as part of the expansion of the firm.
All the firm’s solicitors will now operate from these two site
s in the centre of Harrogate.
Managing partner, Christopher Butterworth said: “We wish to continue to work for old and new clients from the Knaresborough area but we now believe that to provide the best services for our clients, we need to consolidate our operations in Harrogate.
“We have greatly increased the number of staff over the past five years and this has enabled us to offer a higher level of expertise and better facilities to our clients.
“While we understand that this may inconvenience some of our existing Knaresborough clients, we hope to make the transition as painless as possible.”
Raworths’ offices in Harrogate have free car parking and are close to the railway station and on a main bus route.
There is also wheelchair access for clients, and to help clients with mobility difficulties, home visits in the Knaresborough area will be available on request.
“We would like to thank all our clients in Knaresborough for their loyalty and support over the years and hope that they will continue with us in Harrogate.
“Clients will receive full details of the move in the next week or so.”
