THE next collection for Knaresborough's Mobile Recycling Centre will be on Tuesday, November 24, in the market place.
Taking place between 7am and 10am, people living in the town centre are encouraged to bring their items for recycling to the vehicle.

This includes glass bottles and jars, newspapers and magazines, food tins and drink cans, aerosols and foil.

The trial scheme is aimed at helping those who live in parts of the town that Harrogate Borough Council finds difficult to reach with the kerbside recycling collection service because of narrow street and ginnels.

In December, collection dates will be December 8 and 22.

If the scheme proves successful, Harrogate Borough Council plan to provide mobile recycling facilities in other ‘hard to reach’ areas of the district.
