ALL ages took part in the annual Barnado's Big Toddle held at Thistle Hill Day Nursery.
The Calcutt-based nursery held the sponsored walk on a sunny morning with around 50 children taking part in the half-mile walk, which included babies pushed along in prams to the older children, who are nearly school age.

Completing about ten laps round the grounds of the Thistle Hill Care Home, which is situated next to the nursery, the children wore fancy dress costume.

Cath Heaton, manager at the nursery, said: “It was a lovely morning. Many of the parents joined in, too, and we have raised in excess of £200 so far.

“Thanks to everyone who supported us.”
