12 INTREPID cyclists from Knaresborough and Harrogate Fire Stations will undertake a three day, 200 mile circular cycle challenge for charity.
The cylists will be setting off on Sunday, August 17 starting from Knaresborough and taking in fire stations across North Yorkshire.

Waving the firefighters off will be the Mayor of Knaresborough, Coun Pam Godsell.

The sponsored challenge is to raise funds for the Fireman's Benevolent Fund and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The cyclists will return to Knaresborough Fire Station on Tuesday, August 19.

If anyone would like to give or make a donation, they can drop money in at Knaresborough Fire Station or make cheques out directly to the two charities concerned.

Letters are also being sent out by the firefighters to 150 local businesses asking for donations.
