LOCAL football club, the Scotton Scorchers, are enjoying major success this season.
The club, which was founded just five years ago, is delighted that the Under 9s and Under 11 Boys and Under 11 Girls have all won their respective Leagues this year. For the Under 11 Girls, this was their second successive League title.

The girls are also hoping for success this weekend when they compete in their second successive League Cup Final tomorrow at Ripon City Panthers. Recently the team visited Nottingham’s City Ground where they watched Arsenal Ladies beat Leeds United Ladies in a hard fought FA Cup Final, giving Arsenal Ladies a league and cup double.

All are welcome to support the team tomorrow, kick off is at 10am.
