FAMOUS author, David Nobbs is visiting Knaresborough in March.
The visit comes as part of the Lift Off Eggstravaganze fund raising campaign for the refurbishment programme at Knaresborough's Frazer Theatre.

Audiences are invited to spend An Evening with David Nobbs on Friday, March 7 at the theatre where the author will talk about his life and work in an informal setting.

David Nobbs's most famous creation is undoubtedly Reginald Iolanthe Perrin, star of three novels and three television series. But there is far more to David's career than Reggie Perrin.

His acclaimed series, A Bit Of A Do, gained audiences of 14 million for Yorkshire television and he has done work for many top comedians including Frankie Howerd, Les Dawson and The Two Ronnies. There are also 16 novels, all humorous in tone.

His break came when he telephoned the BBC satire show, That Was The Week That Was and soon began to be a regular contributor.

The show son March 7 starts at 7.30pm and tickets priced £10 include wine/soft drink and nibbles.

To reserve tickets/seats, please call David Crosthwaite on 01423 866658 or Shirley Holden on 01423 866347.
