Pianist, Richard Meyrick to visit Knaresborough

INTERNATIONALLY acclaimed pianist Richard Meyrick visits King James's School on Wednesday, June 25.
Richard Meyrick will be visiting the school to meet the pupils and give an evening concert following informal workshops and masterclasses for selected music students during the day.

The concert starts at 7pm with all proceeds going to the school's music department.

The programme includes Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, Chopin's Waltz in C# minor, three songs by Gershwin, Saint Saens' Danse Macabre and Liszt's Rakoczy March.

Tickets £5, adults and £2 for students available from the school, Pear in Knaresborough or Pomp and Circumstance and Music House, Harrogate.

All welcome.
