A KNARESBOROUGH art gallery has a new exhibition starting this month.
Art in the Mill in Green Dragon Yard is looking forward to welcoming visitors to its new exhibition of work by local artist Mark Whorley.

'The Four Seasons at Hay-A-Park' is Mark's solo show and features a visual diary of paintings and photographs expressing a year in the life of Hay-a-Park.

Mark's aim has been to illustrate the subtle changes in the mood of this landscape with the passing seasons in his sensitive acrylic paintings which reveal its diverse flora and fauna.

"Mark is a familiar face to many, out and about in all weathers, meticulously logging the day's highlights and discoveries," said Elaine Grinter from Art in the Mill.

"It seems quite fitting after such a dramatic but beautiful start to the decade that we have this opportunity to showcase nature's year on our doorstep."

* If you'd like to see the exhibition, it runs from next Friday, February 12 to Sunday, March 28 at Art in the Mill, Green Dragon Yard, Knaresborough.
