Hatherley String Quartet coming to Knaresborough
THE Hatherley String Quartet present an evening of chamber music in St John's Church, Knaresborough on Saturday, November 17.
The quartet was formed in 2003 and has since performed widely across the north of England.
The first violinist, Richard Fletcher, is well-known to local audiences after his sell-out performance of Vivaldi's Four Seasons with Knaresborough Pro Musica at feva (Knaresborough Festival of Entertainment and Visual Arts).
The evening will feature music by Haydn and Turina, as well as Ravel's magnificent F major string quartet.
All proceeds from the concert, which starts at 7.30pm, will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Tickets are available on the door, £8 for adults, £6 for students/children.
