THE Great Ouseburn Spring Festival takes place on Sunday, April 20.
The Festival is a great family day out, with attractions that appeal to all age groups.

This year there will be exiting new attractions including the bungee trampoline. Vintage fire engines, a history of the church and churchyard walk are all new this year too.

Although not strictly an attraction, villagers are delighted that the village pub, The Crown, is open for business again, serving hearty food and excellent ale.

Other attractions include open gardens, a woodland walk, a scarecrow trail with prizes for winners and in the church a kaleidoscope of colour with a flower festival and uplifting live music from the Amici Vocal Group (performing at 1.45 and 3pm).

There will also be traditional children's games and café at the village school and new-born lambs at the village farm.

In the village hall there will be a Yorkshire Crafts fair, a café with home cooked food and a raffle and plant stalls on the village green.

All attractions are included for £3.50 adults and children under 16 free.

Open from 11am till 5pm, all profits go to the village school, village hall, church, and village groups like the OAPs' club and the youth group.
