THIS month sees the Knaresborough Players put on their latest production at the town's Frazer Theatre.
One-act play 'Camp Confidence' focuses on a group of women with a range of fears and phobias who go on a weekend course together.

The gentle, warm-hearted comedy centres on Maria and her fear of birds, Blanche who is agoraphobic, Donna, a single mum on probation and Cherry, an obsessive cleaner. Led by the skilled but harassed Julia and her uncertain assistant, Fiona, the four learn a great deal about each other and themselves and emerge happier and more secure as a result.

There is also musical entertainment with guests, local singing group The Songbirds performing during the evening.

Showing from May 15 to 17, tickets priced £7 and £5 are available from Wild Orchid Interiors (opposite Woolworths) on Knaresborough High Street or on the door. Performances start at 7.30pm.
